Japan’s media is going crazy about the outbreak of group infection in schools of Osaka and Hyogo prefecture.? None of people who’s infected has traveled overseas recently.? Schools have been shut down to contain the flu.

At the same time there is an virus outbreak on the web starting in Japan.? This virus(aka GENO virus) seems to use vulnerabilities of Adobe Reader and Adobe Flash Player.? There is no need to panic but should update to the latest Flash Player and tick off Adobe Reader’s Javascript functions.

This virus infects through browsing infected sites.? Worst is if you use FTP with an infected machine, it will manipulate your website into infected to spread virus further.

I just got my hands on Space Invaders Extreme on XBLA this weekend.? I didn’t know it has been out on PSP and NDS for while.

Space Invaders Extreme is a successful evolution of the original Space Invaders.? Every shots, every hits will seamlessly blend into the rhythm just like REZ by Q Entertainment.

Since I’m a great fan of ZUNTATA, I got their soundtrack through Amazon.? BTW, Namco should release Ray series to XBLA.

This is such a magnificient example of Advertising.? These type of ‘realistic army involved’ ads can never happen in Japan.

What goes around comes around

Today I went to Web2.0 Marketing Fair held at Tokyo Big Site.? Extremely crowed with people.? I met with my sister who still works at Mother Inc., in Tokyo ( Mother Inc., is graphic design firm, mainly works on corporate identity and web site design).

Fair is basically about CMSs E Commerce solutions and numerous amout of marketing tools but not design.? So I thought Mother Inc., was bit misplaced but they are providing CMS now too.?? Seems many people were interested in SEO services.

Anyway I don’t think I could even see the half of it.? Really, the place is too huge.

Streetview? has been controversy since its release in Japan.? There seemed to be strong protest against the service thus Google is now re-shooting the streetview in Tokyo.? However this time, camera height are lowered 40cm.

I believe streetview is a cool service but I don’t think it suits the culture here.? People don’t like their properties shot without permission even though it’s legally okay.? In any case, it’s always better to live above 2nd floor ain’t it!?

Weekend at my parents’ home.? Shim-Misato station is currently at its renewal.? Now its got IKEA and next year there’s gonna be LaLaPort(Huge shopping mall).

Watched “Tokyo Tower – Mom & Me, and sometimes Dad”.? Its a movie based on true story of Lily Franky.? Was a good movie.? I guess I share something common with him.? Well, I need to work much harder really.

Paid a visit to Yoshimi-Hyakuana with Ina.? Its an unique ancient tomb with tons a holes on the side of the cliff.

Also consists ex-military facility.? Actually just a tunnel. Remains of Otani-mine was much better really.? But the ruins near the site was cool.
