Sometimes on IE and Firefox, when I click on the input label multiple times to toggle on/off quickly, clicking becomes text selection and checkbox won’t be toggled. So I made a simple jQuery plugin to fix the checkbox usability.

SWFObject is the ultimate solution for embedding Flash contents. I’ve used SWFObject2.X for a while but because of the getSWFHTML method in previous SWFObject, I still favor 1.5 over 2. So I’ve added 1.5 support for swfobject generator in dynamic publishing.
Check it out here.

Barbecue with Feedforce members at 昭和記念公園. Nice and slow weekend surrounded by nature. I was way too exhausted, went straight to bed when I got home. Wish I was young as those kids running around all day long. When do they get tired?

BTW, I oftenly croped photo’s by 4:3|3:4 but come to think its best to leave them in 3:2|2:3 especially when its super wide angle.

I did a small experiment using jQuery to avoid broken/404 image. This shouldn’t be used regularly but perhaps its a fail safe for some websites which I’m currently working on. Nothing new, just going over basics once again.

Last weekend I was summoned to my parents place to fix internet connection issue.
I’ve checked the PC, router and VDSL modem and everything seems to be fully fuctional but for some reason it wasn’t getting any response from WAN.
So at 10:00am I’ve called Usen’s customer support first thing in the morning, hoping to get it fixed.

I wasn’t intending to collect all of whats’ shown on left. Its a set of Japanese traditional hand towels by Iyemon Cha.
Last time was set of drawstring bags colored in Japanese traditional colors. Yeah…I’ve collected all of them too.
Just to clarify things, I’m not into Iyemon Cha because of these sales incentive! Iyemon Cha surely does taste different from other green tea brands.

I made a simple utility for generating unicode range for actionscript. Since I use FD over Flash these days, I tend to use more of scripted embedding for fonts. And I just couldn’t bother to remember any of those unicode codes!
Why bother to make this? Well if its English based site, “Basic Latin” should be suitable, but when its Japanese then its a different story. I wanted to specify every unique word to limit the file size.
Thanks to jQuery. Couldn’t be any easier.
unicode range generator
[EDIT]
Seems options like “Japanese (All)” doesn’t work on IE6. I don’t know why but maybe loop is too big?

Notes,
Photo.
As many of you probably already know, there is going to be an solar eclipse on July 22 in Japan, China and the Marshall islands.
In Tokyo, we will be able to see partial eclipse upto 75%. So I’m gonna take a day off to shoot some photos.
I know there will be tons of people taking photos and vids of the eclipse itself but the coolest thing of eclipse will be the shades.
